Finally, Some Good News About Our Planet

It seems like all we ever hear about are the bad things happening in our world. I came across some good news and wanted to share it with you all.

Humpback whales have bounced back from being on the verge of extinction, and are now leaping through the oceans with a population of approximately 20,000.

Hooray for these gentle giants! These mammals give birth to only one offspring at a time, so it is quite a feat to have made this kind of resurgence when their population had declined to 1,500 whales.

I have had the privilege of going whale watching, and it is magical. I hope these beautiful creatures will be swimming plentifully for all time.
