Eco-Thanksgiving Tip: Flying High Gratitude Journals

Despite my best intentions, I have yet to really hunker down and start a gratitude journal. You know the drill... every morning or night you're supposed to write down three things you're grateful for. This is such a beautiful concept, but when running around like a headless chicken at all hours, it's a bit hard for me to achieve. What I'm typically grateful for is being able to take a sip of my tea when it's still hot, or being able to watch 3 cumulative minutes of live television.

With the thankfulness built into Thanksgiving in mind, I found these cool Fair Trade Flying High Journals, which are made from kite paper. Each journal is handcrafted by a young adult at a home for abandoned youth in rural India called Karm Marg.

I love that buying these journals helps two grand and worthy causes: the world at large, and your inner self. Even if you don't get around to writing in it for Thanksgiving, there's always New Year's Resolutions!

Whenever I talk to new moms of autistic children I always tell them to get a good journal and write EVERYTHING down. It is amazing how a journal can be sooo helpful. I will pass this one along. They are beautiful too. Thanks.

I hear ya though about getting time in the day to even write!
