Spot It! Halloween Edition!

Looking for the perfect alternative offering to sugary treats this Halloween? One of our family's favorite games, Spot It! (read my review here) was just released in a spooky Halloween edition.

Geared for ages seven to adult, parents should beware and be aware that the featured images on the cards might be a bit frightening for younger children. They include: ghouls, ghosts, bloody hands, spiders, bats, cobwebs, skeletons and werewolves to name a few. Keep in mind that your child will have to "call out" the images she is spotting too... Since this is the case, and Miss O is highly sensitive to "scary" content, I am lending the game to my nephew to enjoy for the time being. I just can't see Miss O as gleefully shouting out "bloody hand!" as she does "dolphin" (and all the other benign images) on the original edition.

Nonetheless, Spot It! is always a thrill to play, and this frightful version will unleash a lot of fun on your household this Halloween season.

This game would also make a great "trick-or-treat" trade-in present for your older kids. We swap out our kiddos candy collection for a toy we know they'll love, and they're happy to hand over their loot!
