Crazy for these Nuts

If you're ever on the hunt for new, healthy snacks for your kids that you will also enjoy, Mrs. May's makes delicious nuts! They aren't the typical sold in a tin, covered in salt variety either! They come in little pouches and the line ranges from almond crunch to cashew crunch to cran-blueberry crunch (my favorite), as well as many more.

These nuts are extremely nutritious and they are kosher, wheat free, cholesterol free, dairy free, non-GMO, vegan and have no trans fats. I would love them even more if they were organic too, but maybe that's on their "to-do" list?

The earth loving element to these nuts is that with each purchase you make, a donation is made to Wheels for the World, an organization that helps distribute wheelchairs all over the world to people who couldn't otherwise afford them.

We bought our Mrs. May's nuts at Costco, where they are much more cost efficient. The packaging could definitely use some work in the eco-friendly department, as they are sold in individual bags and then displayed in a big cardboard box wrapped in plastic. I'd love to see the folks at Mrs. May's use recycled materials in their packaging, trim it down, and switch to harvesting organic nuts. Then this truly would be the perfect snack in every aspect!

Oh! I am in LOVE with Mrs. May's! My favorite is the Cashew Crunch.

I got them at BJ's and they just came in the bag. It's funny how they get packaged differently for different stores.
