The Next Best Thing to Kissing an Ouchie

I have had Nana's Ouchy Stick by Essencia on standby in Olivia's dresser. Luckily, she went nearly 7 months without a scrape or cut, but she somehow acquired a scratch when we were out and about on Saturday. Out came this stick, or magic wand if you will, and I rubbed it on her scratch during a diaper change. By her next diaper change, her scratch had markedly improved!

The best part is, there was no blowing after application, no stinging, no tears, because Nana's Ouchy Stick is all natural. The ingredients are: corn starch, sweet almond oil, avocado oil, jojoba, natural beeswax, Vitamin E, Essential Oils of Manuka, Lavender, and Roman Chamomile. The generous 5 oz. tube is like a giant chapstick that rolls on.

I'm also a fan of Essencia's heritage. The mother/daughter team behind the company developed these "aromatics for the skin" because they wanted to tap into "nature's pure and beneficial simplicity" by creating products based on essential oils that do not dehydrate or stress skin.

This brand has a wide array of products for both baby, mother and father. If you're pregnant, be sure to read their "Pregnancy Precaution" page on the use of essential oils during pregnancy.

I hope I don't have to pull out the ouchy stick too often, but knowing I have a safe and natural way to heal Olivia takes the sting out of the boo boos!

That's awesome! Seems like the perfect thing to slip in a purse and have on hand.
