Olivia's New Favorite Sippy Cup
Here's a great, nontoxic, affordable sippy cup for your baby's cute little hands. I previously wrote about the Born Free sippy cup, but realized that Olivia was having a tremendous amount of trouble sucking the liquid through the spout. I tried to do so myself and was barely able to!
I headed back to The Soft Landing to find another safe sippy cup option, and decided to try the Nuby sippy cups. They are P-E-R-F-E-C-T! They are free of the harmful chemicals BPA, PVC and phthalates. Olivia mastered drinking out of them in under a week. They are lightweight, an ideal shape for little grips, and the liquid easily flows through their spouts, which also have a handy lid cover for no-spill travel. Nuby cups are economical too. I got 2 for $4.79 at Babies R Us, and they are about the same price at Target as well.
As we head into summer, the Nuby cups are Olivia's favorite companion to stay hydrated. Happy sipping!

These are good cups for beginners, but when your kiddos start to get older, and you've sent these cups through a few washes in the dishwasher, be prepared for leaks. We were really impressed with them, especially their price. After a while, both the sipper spout holes and the vent hole got bigger with jagged tears. It got to the point where our kids would turn their cups over and watch them drip milk all over their tray. But, they are excellent cups for kids who are learning to drink from a sippy, and fairly inexpensive.
Yes, be prepared. I've tested almost all of the sippys out there from Soft Landing at my blog: http://greenandcleanmom.blogspot.com and these leaked like no other! Cheap and nice...at first. Beware! I love the Boon. I'm waiting to try Safe Sippy.
