Green Tea has a Whole New Meaning

I have to admit, I have as much fun playing with Olivia's toys as she does. I can't wait until she's old enough for us to have tea parties together, and when she is, I'm going to whip out Green Toys Tea Set.

In an age where we need to research the safety of our children's toys, it's great to know that this tea set contains no phthalates or BPA, and it's made in the good old USA. The set comes with a teapot, a creamer, a sugar bowl, four cups, four saucers and four spoons.

Here's s little background info on the manufacturing of this tea set:

"The Green Toys tea set is made from recycled plastic milk containers that save energy, reduce landfill waste and lower greenhouse gas emissions, all in the name of good green fun. Rubberwood is used to make toys that are bright, colorful and are good for the environment. In the past, rubber trees that were no longer producing latex would be burned. Now, these abandoned trees are utilized to make sustainable playthings."

I'm a huge fan of the Green Toys company and I encourage you to shop for this tea set and for their other toys here. I hope the insight, integrity, eco and child friendliness factors behind their toy making sets the tone for future creators and companies.

Oh my gosh! That is so cute! I'll have to remember this when my niece's birthday comes around.
