WINNER CHOSEN-Win a Subscription to KIWI Magazine here on Petite Planet!

CONGRATULATIONS TO TRISHA, THE WINNER OF THE KIWI MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTION! THANK YOU ALL FOR TAKING THE TIME TO PARTICIPATE!

I'm delighted to be holding my very first contest giveaway here on Petite Planet. As a thank you for giving me the gift of your time and readership, I'll be giving one lucky reader a 1 year subscription to the fabulous, KIWI Magazine.

"Kiwi" is dedicated to "growing families the natural and organic way." Timely articles range from choosing the safest, natural products for your child's dental care, and a guide to throwing a "green" baby shower, to eco-crafts and truly nutritious recipes. Kiwi also features a "Social Responsibility" section which highlights how children can help change the world, and includes inspiring articles on those who already have.

In mainstream parenting magazines, I always flip right to the tiny section most dedicate to "green living." It's great to know that Kiwi is an entire magazine filled with tips and articles that tout the eco-lifestyle.

To win: Please leave a comment on this post, by July 20th. To protect your privacy, after posting your comment, please email me at: bethsheawriter@gmail.com with the subject: "Kiwi Contest," so I will have your email contact information in the event you win. The winner will be randomly chosen from a hat. Good luck!

Oh me me me! Let's see, the most recent thing I've done start a compost pile. I had been wanting to do this for a while, and finally after some advice from friends, I did it:-) So far it is working out great! And it is definitely helping me on my one can/per month of trash challenge:-)

I started using reusable shopping bags.

This sounds like something that would help give me ideas and visual aid on my life of trying to live a more natural and eco-friendly life! I already recycle and use re-useable shopping bags. I am going to join the stay-at-home-mom community and want to look for ways to provide for my family a healthy and natural way....boy was that an ear full! (or eye full!)
I hope I win!

Pick me, pick me! The thing that I have started recently (to add to my garden, my clothes line, my compost bin, my reusable shopping bags, my cloth diapers, and my cloth towels) is I started collecting water run-off to water my garden and flowers with. I also collect water that I would otherwise throw out (half empty water glasses, soaking water, etc.) and add it to my water outside. I would love to get a magazine to further educate me!

Hello! My husband bought this magazine for me once while I was pregnant. We loved it. Now we are having a hard time finding it anywhere. I'm a new mama (3 weeks yesterday) and am always looking for eco-friendly ideas to incorporate into our family.

I am increasing my use of reusable shopping bags, and my garden grows bigger and better every year thanks to backyard composting. Thanks for the contest! I'd love to win.
